Benoa port operator Pelindo III Benoa
received a Prima Madya 2012 award from the Transportation Ministry
earlier this week. Pelindo III Benoa is among the 132 state-owned and
private institutions providing land, sea and air transportation services
that have received awards from the ministry for their work performance.
The awards come in different levels: Prima Utama, Prima Madya and Prima
Pratama.
“We will continue to improve our
performance in the future,” said Pelindo III Benoa general manager Iwan
Sabatini. Among the performance indicators are operational systems, good
documentation and trained human resources. Iwan expected that the toll
road development connecting Ngurah Rai International Airport, Nusa Dua
and Benoa port would in the future help to improve Pelindo III Benoa’s
service for the passengers of cruise ships calling at Benoa port.
